RULES AND REGULATIONS.

You may sign up with any username you want to have, but once you have decide on your character's name, please change your display name. Sure, this can realistically wait until you are approved or post your application, but if you plan on filling out the application before posting it, then please change your name accordingly and make sure that your display name is in uppercase letters and your full character name. Please do not put punctuation in your display name. As for how many characters you can have, you can have as many as you'd like, but the administration team will ask that you keep your character genders in ratio, so we won't have to put a ban on a certain gender.

On the note of applying, please post your application within a week of registering. We ask that you don't post any work in progress applications because, frankly, its not a long app and because it makes everything a little more complicated for the admins. Also, please fill out the application carefully and do not change the code. We'd also like for people to use people as play bys, and not drawn characters. no anime allowed. since we're using people, there is one short thing that the administration team will ask for and that is don't try and pass off your character as 22 if the face claim is over 50, and vice versa. Try and make the face claim as close to your character age as possible.

We would love everyone on this site (and by love, i mean require) everyone to have a 100x100 avatar - the limit - and a signature of their choice, as long as it does not exceed a width of 400 px. The banner cannot exceed 400px in height. If you can't make graphics, there is a graphics board where you can request some and people are always willing to oblige. If you can't get someone on here to do it, go to a site such as CAUTION. You have to join, but it's worth it for all the graphics you can get as well as help with anything else.

We will not be posting activity checks weekly, though there will be one every month. We would like for people to at least log on daily to keep the site looking active - even if it's just to check your character pm's or post an absence. You don't have to post a roleplay post everyday if you're busy, but you can post in the ooc boards, which requires not even a sentence for most of the games. People who do not log in for two weeks will most likely be deleted, along with their character(s). Your phrase is 'juggernaughts will rise' put this is the anything else section of the application. You may have as many characters as you can handle, but if you choose to make more than one, try to make one boy for every two girl characters you have or vice versa.

We know everyone has a bad day every now and then, but we have a posting minimum of 400 words a post, and that's not really that big of a task. The staff will be paying attention to those who consistently do not make the word minimum, and if we catch this, we will talk to you and warn your account if it carries on. We are an intermediate to advanced role play site, so try to keep on par with the minimum.

This is a harry potter roleplay, so magic is allowed, for obvious reasons. Please try to remember the Hogwarts school rules if you are roleplaying a student. For example, curfew is 10:00 pm. If you're caught after that, then a professor may just catch you. Also, please note that only third years and onwards are allowed to visit hogsmeade, so no second years can be found here or an administration member will burst in and put them in detention. Other than that ... if you choose to join this site, thank you! We really appreciate it and we, the administration team, would like to get to know each and every member, so don't hesitate to introduce yourself in the ooc boards and cbox!
